Why switch to LED?

Replacing Incandescent and Halogen Lighting

  • Some of the scenarios listed below may seem extreme, but are all situations that have occured in the past, and can likely occur in the future of your home or business.

  • Halogen bulbs are filled with halogen gasses which are used with the expectancy of extending the life span of the bulb. In addition, upon combustion of one of these bulbs harmful fumes are released into the air.

  • These halogen bulbs can produce more heat, making your home hotter, and also providing danger of being burnt upon contact with the surface of the bulb. (Such as contact by small children or even pets). Therefore these lights should never be left on unattended.

  • These bulbs have been known as hazards for creating fires in places such as lamps, night stands, or areas covered by drapes.

  • Incandescent light bulbs have a history of exploding in the begininng, middle, or end of its expected lifespan making this episode almost completely unpredictable. This is most commonly caused by cheap light fittings, but is still frightening and dangerous.

The Safer and Brighter Led solution

  • Led light bulbs, other known as "Light Emitting Diodes", are a much more cost efficient source of light, which had entered the market in the early 60’s.

  • The Led lighting source has been able to produce more light by using up to 1/10th of the electricity and producing nearly half the heat element. These lights will not only lighten up your home, but they can also lighten up your monthly electric bill.

  • By design, Led's are made to have less wattage (electricity drawn), but higher lighting output ( luminous Flux ).
